The reports shall contribute for the Bulgaria’s improvement in the negotiation process for EU membership.

Main Goal:
The reports shall contribute for the Bulgaria’s improvement in the negotiation process for EU membership.

Sub Goals:
The necessary information, concerning the implementation of the EU recommendations to the Regional policy and the coordination of the structural instrument to be gathered and analysed

Informing the public about the measures undertaken and implemented by the Bulgarian government.

Content and Encompass of the Project:
The project begins with signing an Agreement for cooperation between the minister of EU integration and Open Society Institute in the end of 2005. There are five working groups formed which aim is to collect information, evaluate and report about the implementation of the pointed measures for Bulgaria in the five critical areas. Balkan Assist observed the measures on Chapter 21 Regional policy and the coordination of the structural instrument. Balkan Assist together with other experts observed Chapter 21 Regional policy and the coordination of the structural instrument.
