Dutch citizens collect signatures through their websites for a ban
published on 12 May 2006 The organisation has no paid people at all, even the person picking up the phone is a volunteer. Except a few thousand, the signatures were collected through their website, supported by some fee publicity. People who "signed" online were asked to print out a form, sign it, and send it by mail to a postal address. Some people sent several hundred signatures.
