THE INTEREST FOR THE EXHIBITION ON REGENERATION CONTINUES

 The exhibition on the successful Bulgarian and international projects in the field of regeneration continues to provoke the interest from the side of municipalities and organizations active in the sphere of sustainable urban development. Established as the final product of the long-term Balkan Assist’s project “REGENERATION – A CHANCE FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE BULGARIAN MUNICIPALITIES”, the exhibition was initially opened and presented for the first time in December, 2011 in the Atrium hall of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. In January and February 2011 the exhibition was hosted by The Union of the Architects in Bulgaria followed by visits throughout the country: it was displayed on a national meeting on the Integrated plans for the rehabilitation and development of urban environment in Lovech, on the information center of Maria Nedelcheva - Member of the European Parliament, on the international meeting on industrial areas held in Pernik, etc.

The exhibition presents 60 projects implemented according to the principles of regeneration and sustainable development in Bulgaria, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany, etc., which you can learn more about here.

What follows is a visit of the exhibition in Stara Zagora from the 5th to the 15th of October at the invitation of the Regional Economic Development Agency after which it will be presented in the European Information Center in Ruse.
